Bringing STEM and Leadership Courses to NYC's Youth via Hudson River Community Sailing Fund

Starting October 16, I will be participating in Sailing For Scholars, an annual fundraising event and regatta in support of Hudson River Community Sailing (HRCS), a nonprofit youth development and community sailing organization based in New York City. Over the past four years, I've had the privilege of both being an HRCS member. The program is anchored (pun-intended) on Sail Academy, a multi-year youth development program supporting students from under-resourced areas of NYC through STEM leadership, education, college access support, workforce preparation and of course, sailing skills. HRCS also provides access to the water with adaptive sailing programs, and via community sailing programs supporting members from across the five boroughs. This program is near and dear to my heart, and your support is greatly appreciated.
