National Queer Theater Inc
The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated performing arts around the world, and has been acutely felt in the New York region. Each summer, the New York-based theater collective National Queer Theater produces the "Criminal Queerness Festival," a series of productions highlighting the stories of LGBTQ individuals in countries that criminalize trans and queer identities. Supporting this organization provides a unique opportunity to both help revive New York's vibrant LGBTQ performing arts scene as well as support the international queer community.
Rainbow Railroad USA, Inc.
Rainbow Railroad is a global non-profit that assists LGBTQI individuals in escaping persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity or sex characteristics. Often times, state-enabled homophobia and transphobia prevent these individuals from living openly and freely. Rainbow Railroad provides emergency relocation and other forms of assistance to help these individuals reach safety. To-date, this organization has helped over 1,600 people around the world escape persecution.
