This event was started to provide an activity for employees to get moving while also working to raise funds for a local charity. This fun event includes an amazing race style Dash run/walk, music and activities. The Be the Bridge Dash offers runners and walkers, a chance to step up and represent for their non-profit charity. The entire event is about fitness, fun, and sportsmanship. Employees, contractors, friends and family are invited to harness the Cisco spirit by supporting the community through the Be the Bridge Campaign. This year we have chosen to raise funds for the Atlanta Community Foodbank to kick off our annual Canstruction Tree event. Funds raised will be matched (employees only) by the Cisco Foundation. VMware Women Allies in Sales Mentorship Committee and Veterans at VMware are partnering to support 12 US Food banks leading up to the Holiday period. Food insecurity affects so many Americans and by donating to this fund which is matched by the VMware Foundation you will make a difference to many people.

Help the most vulnerable amongst Atlantans in this time of unprecedented need. My aim was to choose a decent mix of large and small charities with unique approaches towards assisting homeless, the elderly, and those who have lost their jobs in the service industry suddenly.

Today there are an estimated 54 million families who will go hungry this year. That number is staggering especially during this time of year. Method 1, Team and Culture, is dedicated to creating a give-back culture for all. We have a number of activities planned throughout the year that encourages camaraderie while impacting the community.

Our goal is to help raise money to provide meals for families at Thanksgiving and to support our local food banks for the East Area!

As the holiday season approaches and individuals and families face reduced access to essential public assistance programs, hunger relief organizations and local agencies are hard at work to address heightened needs in their communities. Your donation to this Fund will help the following nonprofits distribute fresh food to those in need throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas in the region.
