The people of the State of Texas have been through a rough time as of late. COVID-19 has infected over 2.66M people and impacted the lives of many more. In addition Winter Storm Uri left many without power and reliable sources of food or water. The storm also caused an estimated 200B+ in property damage than many of us personally experienced. Service has long been a part of the VMware culture under the Community pillar of Epic2. Over 1,500 VMware + 20,000 Dell Technologies employees, thousands of our partners, and customers call Texas home. Our Texas community needs our help and support. When we lift up our neighbors ALL of us rise. We're launching campaign #StandUp4Texas with the goal of completing as many service learning hours as possible and donating as much money as we can to charities aimed at helping the people of Texas get back on their feet.
