ECWA is an urban conservation nonprofit whose mission is to protect and restore the health of the Ellerbe Creek watershed while fostering community access and engagement in environmental stewardship in Durham, NC.Through action rooted in collaboration, we aim to mitigate urbanization's impact on our natural resources and promote equitable access to nature for all.The Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association (ECWA) is a 501c3 land trust and watershed organization in Durham, NC that manages nearly 500 acres of land for conservation, water quality and public enjoyment.
