Nonprofits in this fund have widespread impact on racial justice. They are community-centered and cover a range of strategies and resources in Black, Latinx, Asian, and Native American communities. They are on the smaller side so your dollars have more impact.

The Queer & Trans People of Color (QTPOC) Fund supports organizations that promote equity, inclusion, and advocacy for people of color within the LGBTQ+ community. The Fund celebrates Pride month through the lens of the ongoing movement for racial justice, acknowledging the intertwined nature of both movements as well as the intersectionality of the QTPOC community's experiences.

June is Pride month! The Pride 2020 Fund celebrates Pride by featuring organizations addressing the multi-faceted needs of the diverse LGBT+ community. The Fund includes organizations advancing the well-being of the community through direct services and mental health resources as well as those promoting equity and representation through legal services and policy advocacy.

There are so many organizations doing amazing work for the LGBTQ community. To help you make the most impact, we partnered with Amplifunds to curate a fund of organizations where your donation is most needed today. Impact portfolio curator Altaf Rahamatulla has created the Promoting LGBTQ Rights Through Advocacy, Reform, and Culture Change Fund that consists of six non-profits below. On June 15, 2020, the US Supreme Court ruled that it is illegal for employers to discriminate against employees based on their sexual orientation and gender. This recent victory highlights how we are still in the throes of fighting for who we are and who we love. The LGBTQIA+ Community Support and Legal Action Fund strives to support people affected by discrimination and advocates defending human rights. With the added strains of the pandemic and civil unrest throughout our country, it is crucial that we support these resources and advocacy groups to pave the way towards a brighter and more just future.

Transgender Awareness Week is celebrated from November 13th through November 19th each year, and aims to increase public knowledge surrounding the common issues faced by the transgender community including discrimination and prejudice in various forms, socioeconomic and healthcare inequities, and acts of violence, among others. Additionally, Transgender Awareness Week highlights the importance of trans visibility in all spaces, showcases stories and experiences from within the transgender community, and encourages allies to stand in solidarity by showing their support and commitment to working towards justice and equality. Transgender Awareness Week precedes Transgender Day of Remembrance, observed annually on November 20th. Transgender Day of Remembrance memorializes the lives lost to targeted, anti-transgender violence and advocates for the fight for justice. In addition to supporting nonprofit organizations with a donation, you can participate by organizing or attending a vigil to honor those who have lost their lives to targeted acts of violence. Your donation to this Fund will help support the selected organizations' shared mission of providing support in all forms to the transgender community, increasing trans visibility, and advocating for justice and inclusion through direct client services, policy development, and educational programming.
