The wildfires within Australia have reached unprecedented levels. There have never been so many fires happening concurrently within the country at emergency warning levels. Fires coupled with extreme heat and drought have left much of the country in an emergency state. People are facing mass evacuation and hospitalization due to respiratory-related illnesses. In addition, there is significant danger to the country’s wildlife and plant life, including half the koalas living on a coastal reserve in New South Wales. InVision and its partner Raised By Us have established the InVision 2019 Australia Wildfire Response and Recovery Fund to support the communities impacted by these fires. This Fund is comprised of pre-vetted nonprofits providing emergency response in the region. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery. We have initially selected organizations that are providing immediate relief needs, including rescue efforts and medical assistance. The composition of the nonprofits in this Fund are subject to change as we learn more about the needs on the ground.
